Setup Exchange 2003 to download mails via SMTP with GFI Mail Essential
Can anyone enlighten me as to what is required in the following situation:
Current Server : Exchange 2003 with SP2
Our Organization mydomain.com is correctly working with the help of GFI Mail Essential POP3 connector. It downloads email from hosted site. Currently all mails in mydomain.com is received fine and sent/ receive without problems. As POP3 connector takes time to deliver (download mails from individual mailboxes). We would like to setup our exchange so that it can download mail via SMTP.
Note: Currently we don’t have static IP.
Kindly assist with changes required to be done with Exchange 2003 so our organization can start receiving mails as SMTP.

Adding child domain for required ID's only solve this issue, due to this exchange will not download those mails & user will be able to access their mails via pop account. Thanks
2) setup MX and reverse pointer for exchange(smtp) server at ISP end and remove the MX pointer of GFI Mail Essential POP3 connector hosted site
