Hi

I have an winform application need to get data from remote SQL servers from both MSSQL and MYSQL to dataGrid etc in winform.

I am not sure weather I should worry if my client has to have TCP port open or Firewall issue with my application or not? Because most corporate users will have port etc block by Admin.

Thanks,

In that case firewall will be inevitable right? Meaning if firewall exist then my application would not be able to update right?

Firewall needs to be configured to allow permissions to have connections on those ports.
