Can I grant Unix / windows login to sybase server

Hi,
Can I grant existing login in windows / Unix server to sybase server ? for eg: user already create  in local pc or domain..

On Windows you can set up "integrated security" where Windows domain logins can be mapped to Sybase logins, and Windows domain groups mapped to Sybase roles.

I don't recommend it. It's messy, clumsy, and the defaults make no sense - the Windows group Everyone gets mapped to sa_role and sso_role, for instance, or at least they did when I looked into this a very long time ago.

More recent releases can tie into UNIX LDAP but I think you pay for that as a premium feature.
