Trouble Converting Text to Data/Time

I have 1400 hundred records in a table that is store as text but the information is actually dates:

format: 01/30/95

When in design mode, I'm trying to convert the table data type but it says two records would be deleted because they don't contain correct date/time data.  Wondering, is there some sort of query I could do to find the two records and manually update them?  I've eyeballed the data but I'm going cross-eyed trying to find the date that is invalid.  There has got to be an easier way right?
