I have Firezilla server set up on a Windows 2008 server.  It has stopped functioning for no evident reason.  I have restarted the Firezilla service with no luck, but when I reboot the machine it works again.  Does anyone have a solution other than rebooting the server?

Do you see any event messages related to it? often when something like this happens it can be due to a conflicting app taking the port or causing a conflict crashing the exe.

The only errors I see are:

Event filter with query "select * from HP_McSystemEvent" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./ROOT/wmi" because of error 0x80041010. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error calling routine RegOpenKeyExW(-2147483646,SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VSS\Diag,...).  hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.

I would get that error fixed first and it may be the cause of the crash you are experiencing.
The link i just posted I believe will help you resolve the issue.  From a  quick search this has started popping up in feb or so after a long hiatus and is some HP utility I am unfamiliar with.

Our call in technical support made some changes last night to this server (the network resources were not visible from our workstations).  I've rebooted the server and Firezilla still is not working, which leads me to believe the problem is related to the changes made last night.  I'm closing this question, but thanks for trying.
