When logging into MS Office 2010 for the first time we are having to manually configure the server settings.  If we try to let it automatically creat the server settings as it is trying to connect to the server it pops an "Unknown Error Occured, Error Code: 0x80070057.  Does anyone know how we can fix this.

You didn't specify version of Exchange, but assuming 2003, check out this MSKB - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028193.
