How to create an Html editor in Flash

I have been looking everywhere and I really cannot find the answer and help to my question.

I am trying to get some help on creating a simple html editor in Flash - simple WYSIWYG html editor making e.g. as italic, bold, but also being able to upload a picture.. Im using as3 and php. Is it a waste of time to do it Flash and is it possible ?
