HI

Why is this command not working?

andrea@oscar:~/ensembl/data/homo_sapiens_core_61_37f$ wget -nc ftp://ftp.ensembl.org/pub/release-61/mysql/homo_sapiens_core_61_37f/

Removed `.listing'.
Wrote HTML-ised index to `index.html' [13547].

It is only retrieving a listing of the files in the directory and not the files themselves

thanks

You have only said wget -nc <directory>, try something like 'wget -nc --mirror -l1 <directory>.

wget www.website.com/ only retrieve the index file.

Try running it without the -nc option.
