I have a FreeBSD server with both Ipv6 and Ipv4 connectivity.

I am trying to use this FreeBSD box to publish an AAAA record for a domain which is hosted on an ipv4 only server.

I would like the AAAA record to point to a squid instance on the FreeBSD server that will transparently pull the content via ipv4 from the server that is ipv4 only and deliver it over ipv6 to end users.

I have never used squid and would appreciate pointers to any documentation that would help setting this up.

You'll need one of the very latest build of squid.
Here's some more information
