Connecting Ethernet in Contractors Trailer

My company has just recently rented a contractors trailer to set up a temporary office on a construction site we're on.  The trailer has 6 Ethernet outlets throughout the trailer.  These all lead to a small cabinet in the back.  The 6 wires do not have ends on them so all of the individual wires are exposed.  Next week, I have the local broadband service provider coming in to install internet access.  Thats as far as they'll go thought, they won't do any of the networking needs.  So, they'll install a cable modem and thats it.  I've got figure out how to connect all of these 6 CAT5 cables so that I have a working network.  I've tried to convince the project manager just to do a wireless network but he does not want to.  Can I just put ends on the Ethernet cables, get a router with at least 6 ports and be done there, or am I missing something?  Thanks.
