To work around this problem, you can try using some kind of uninstaller, like Revo, MyUninstaller to uninstall whatever it is you need to uninstall.
To help with the problem resolution, I need some clarification:
1- What OS are you using?
2- When you say "i cannot see the list of programs which it used to display in the uninstall program list", do you mean the add/remove programs list? If so, is it blank, or does it show some programs, but not all?

If this is XP or earlier I would reinstall and then use this canon uninstall software download here.

i am using windows 7

yes i mean the add/remove program list

it only shows my antivirus software which is quick heal.
Well you removed an entry in registry that would show the program in Programs and Features in control panel.

So to uninstall, you can install the software again and then run uninstall. You can also go to Program Files and try to find an uninstall file and start it from there.

For the future, run Revo Uninstaller (free) and uninstall the program if there is an issue running uninstall from Programs and Features in control panel. Revo Uninstaller scans registry and local disk for files and registry entries that programs leave behind.
