Does anyone know what a loading dock intragration point is?

I work for a security company that installs ip cameras.  The owner is asking if we can provide a loading-dock integration point for smart phones, paging, etc. but not referring to an actual shipping loading dock.  I do have some IT knowledge but maybe this is a term that is used that I'm not aware of.

Can't you ask the boss what he means? Maybe some customer made it up and told him this term. I googled a few terms but nothing really came up. I never heard loading docks integration for smartphones. It is some tracking device for the phones and pagers?
Maybe he means docking station for smart phones? Some older smart phones you had to "dock" to syncronize your contacts/email, etc with your pc.. Docking station connected to PC and also serves as a charger.
its not an it phrase Imho

Not an IT phrase.  He was talking about an actual loading dock....just some typical miscommunication.  Thanks for all of the replys!
