How to schedule a workflow

Hi, I have a sharepoint designer workflow published to a sharepoint document library list. The workflow checks a date column and see if the time is changed are not and perform some actions. What I want is during the day the workflow has to run automatically every hour check and see if the date is changed or not.

HOW CAN I SCHEDULE THE WORKFLOW TO RUN AUTOMATICALLY. MY ENVIRONMENT IS DIFFERENT THAT I DON'T HAVE ACCCESS TO SERVERS OR I CAN'T DO ANYTHING IN THE VISUAL STUDIO CODE. ANY SCHEDULE JOB OR SOMETHING CAN BE POSSIBLE ?

Without having access to the servers, your options are very limited.

One idea is that you could look at creating a scheduled job (.NET, PowerShell, whatever) on a different server, that polls your document library for changes and kicks off the workflow if it sees the specified change.

I haven't done this myself, so I don't know if you can initiate workflows through web services, or if you would have to set a metadata field value (like a start flag) on an item.
