Cannot install HP C7280 wireless printer.

I have tried to install the HP C7280 printer for two days now.  Did the online and CD install attempts. Uninstalled old installations several times.  Tried system restore several times, etc. etc.  Latest attempts gave me this error during last two installation attempts, "C:\Program Files\HP\{988329F4-A1A1-4S51-803C-EF2725A9-7327-gup\auto....   "The file cannot be accessed by the system".  Please advise.

Using Windows 7 64bit

That is of course after you have cleaned all previouse cache.
Run the installer as an administrator.  You can right click the installer and click on "Run as Administrator".

You may also want to check if there are any other HP printers installed on the system.  They could be interferring with the installer.

The answer was to call HP tech support and pay $20.  During install some files go into the temp folder.  In there go to  "temp/7zS6947/util/ccc/uninstall L3.bat" and run in dos.  This does a thorough Level 3 uninstall of all of  HP components.
