ghost cast server not accepting clients


I have a Windows 2008 R2 server, i have installed WDS and created a boot image and am able to boot the clients off of a network boot.  I have set it to load ghost and this works fine.  When i go and select ghost cast and then unicast (on the client machine that i am trying to image up) and enter the session name (which i set when i ran ghost cast server on the Windows 2008 server) it then returns the error of "unable to establish contactwith session <session name>. Check that the ghost casting server is ready to accept clients! (10030)
If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.

WDS and (Symantec) Ghost are not the same product. Which are you using?

I am using wds to network boot the workstation and have set it to run ghost32.exe.  It opens up ghost fine but does not see the ghost cast server.
I have since found if I use a [Admin Edit] and run the network ghost it finds the ghost cast server all ok. I am assuming I have missed something when I have created the boot image.

It won't find the Ghost Cast server because the WDS boot is pointing the clients to the WDS server, is my guess. I wouldn't mix the two products.

Why don't you go all the way and set up WDS properly? Capture an image and then you can deploy it whenever you like.

I have de same problem... have the product installed in my laptop (windows 7) and in a Server (Windows 2003) but in my laptop the Cast Server dont recive any connection. and in the client apears the same error (10030), and the USB keys was created in my laptop. When I make the sesion on the server dont have any problem.

I turned off Firewall, reinstall the ghost, but dosn't work
any suguestion?
