asked on

why is radactive not uploading in IE9?

I'm using radactive iLoad as an imagecomponent. It worked fine, but not in ie9. I can't upload any images anymore. The program hangs as soon as i try to click the "add files" button. There is a suggestion that this is a javascript issue. In firefox however it is working fine. How can i solve this (as radactive is not giving active support anymore). Thanks

Hi Rovi31,

Did you try to debug the JavaScript? I suggest you insert a debugger; statement in the imagefile upload component's JS and try to debug. If the JS is dynamically emitted then you try built in JS debugger of IE9.

Chinmay.

I have not found the solution, for some reason it works on my production servers now but i have not found the reason why, so there is nu real solution. there is ni support any more from radactive anymore, so I couldn't find the solution there.
I think in that case you should mark your question for Deletion.

i have found a solution that works for me ...
1. go to internet explorer settings, - internet options
2. click settings "change how webpages are displayed in tabs"
3.  change the pop up behaviour to "always open pop ups in a new window"

this fixed the problem for me ... im so happy ...
