Exhange IIS / Entourage & Webmail access issues
Hi all
I am having serious issue this morning with exchange 2003. For a while now I've been having problems where the Mac users in our company using Entourage drop connection to the exchange box, also webmail stops. Usually a restart of IIS services or failing that server restart brings it back to life.
This morning nothing will bring it back, event logs give me no clue at all as to what might be causing. Only re-occuring error is a Server Active-Sync error 3031 but I can't find anywhere that links this error to the issue I am having.
I have read on a couple of forums that an IIS re-install might be on the cards!
Any help much appreciated, at the moment I have 40 mac users with no email access!

it sounds like you are experiencing some performance issues with your server
check non paged pool and free pte
check the iis logs for 801.293

I've had Microsoft online to check and it's not performance related.
Everything is running fine with IIS it seems but I cannot browse to OWA. I've created a new website through IIS and cannot browse to that either so I am stumped. I am waiting for the IIS team at Microsoft to get back to me.

OK so MS engineer on the case now (from the IIS team) however he has flagged up possible issues with the /3GB switch settings, this could be causing an issue with IIS and preventing sites from loading.
that's funny that it's not performance related but possibly related with the /3GB switch
did you check for 801.293 in the iis logs
did you check for 801.293 in the iis logs
