cant save outlook2003 calendar\appointments events

Hi Experts.

I have a problem with outlook on just one PC on my network. It cant seem to save calendar events. If i save one it seems to highlight the day i saved it and then when i click into e-mails and back into calendar events it is missing.

I have renamed the OST so it can replicate again. I have done a detect and repair and also a full reinstall of outlook and no luck.

I have read that daylight savings have caused issues in the past with forums i read about and on sunday the clocks have moved forward but it seems the PC has infact updated anyway. I can see patches for XP but not windows 7 Pro. We use outlook 2003 and this is a win 7 machine. I have multiple PC's with thos spec and they are all fine.

I cleared out forms cache, ran outlook.exe /cleanview

Rstarted PC several times too. I cant understand what might be causing this or is i have not done something like select view items?

Ideally not unless i have to. Is there any more sugestions before i do that.

Also when you say delete the profile do you mean remove the user account off the server including mailbox and then start a new profile and then bring e-mail data back in?

Last week i could not work on this due to time. Could you possibly shed some light? is there a way of me just deleting the mail account and then recreating it again?

Or do i have to delete the user off the system and then create user from scratch. I would like to try tackle this today.

Thank you
Just delete the email account for starters. you do not have to delete the user account for now. remember to save all of their files

Im due to do this users account in the next couple of hours,

I am looking at her account and she has many folder in there with many subfolders.

Could i exmerge the data out and back in or would not be defeating the whole object of a new account and then bringing the data in. I just dont know hoe exactly i am going to backup the ost and reimport it in. I have once done this before and i remeber exchange going into recovery mode but i cant quite remember what i did.

Do you know of an easy way to do this?

what if you just export the files from here local pc to a PST like file and then import it as achieved items when new profile created?

all done and now working.

My steps were as follows:
Backed up mail box via pst backup and also exmerge on server.

remove account via exchange server

followed this link to resolve mailbox in recovery mode

exmerged the data back in from the server to save time.

Tested and all works and mail is in the inbox as was.

Thanks for all the help.
