Weird IE problem

Hi

I'm experiencing some strange behaviour from Internet explorer, it can be seen here: SoundOut

If following any link on the site causes the IE window to move to the background, this is easiest to see if you have some other app maximised behind IE.

If you wait a few seconds then it jumps back to the front.

I have no idea why it does this and no other browser shows the same behaviour. As you can imagine, this causes some usability issues.

I'm using windows 7 (64 bit) and have IE9 for testing but the same behaviour has been reported by users of IE7 and IE8.

Cheers
Andy

I think your system infected form virus
u scan your system in safe mode or restore old data

otherwise scan through prevx

I know what you mean when clicking on any link from that site the window disappears in the background and what's left is my EE window.

It must be their site.. I am using IE8, XP 32bit and it's happening to me too.
Sorry, wasn't clear. I'm developing the site and it was launched last week.

My problem is that I have no idea what's causing this behaviour in IE so I can't fix it.

Any suggestions?
A little bit if extra information.

I copied the site to a staging server this morning and the behaviour doesn't occur on the staging version despite being a straight copy.

This might suggest that it's an IIS7 configuration issue, don't know if that helps anyone.

Cheers

try watching windows task manager when you click the link, does it show some new process or window, also try ALT+TAB at the time IE windows goes back, is there any new window.

I agree to the first answer posted on this question.

Expert solutions weren't helpful and I fixed it myself so I'm sharing that solution in case anyone else runs into the issue
