Cold fusion image uploader...

I have a project that users will be uploading pics to go with their 'profile'.  Right now, we are just using CF image and resizing them on the fly... the client says it takes too long, and wants a progress bar.  Go figure.

Any good examples of an image uploader for CF 9?  Tahnks in advance!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Ok! So you need a Progress Bar for Uploading the Image!

Option 1: You can use the Coldfusion 9 MultiUpload Functionality which has a Progress bar

Option 2: You can use the CFMU Coldfusion Custom tag at riaforge whcih does eaactly what you need!

Option 3: You can get a Progress bar Js File From Dynamic Drive, Create A loop in the Page which will run after 5 steps until it reaches 100 and just show underneath the Upload Text Box, This might be a fake one but user will never know how it happened

Im going to look into your comments... (myselfrandhawa). I need just the progress bar.  I have an app that uploads images and then resizes a thumb and larger view for the gallery.

IF you are on CF 9 you can use cfprogressbar tag to show the progress bar

@myselfrandhawa, CFMU project is already mentioned in my first post...
