How to allow youtube videos in BlueCoat?


Our organization web policy blocks You Tube by default. However some whit-listed websites use You Tube to broadcast some informative videos. What's the best way to allow these videos without allowing or whit-listing You Tube video links in Blue Coat?

I'm not familiar with Blue coat but are there specific people who are allowed to see these?  Can you apply web filtering by group?

Yes you can apply web filtering by group.
You can configure a rule in Web Access Layer
Create a referrer object  (your whitelisted site)  as a source and for destination create combined object with youtube sites ( youtube,, and others - check with IEinspector what has to be configured ).
