I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In the GW software folder, copy the admin\C1ADMIN folder structure to the corresponding ConsoleOne folder...

Sorry -

I am not overly familiar with GW, could you be a little more specific on where I can find the C1ADMIN folder.

thanks

Somewhere on your server is what Novell calls the GroupWise Software Distribution Directory - this would have, for example, the CLIENT folder from which you install the GW client, along with folders called AGENTS, DOMAIN, PO, etc.... it is also what you would download from Novell if you were to update to the latest GW version (8.02SP2HP2).... find that folder and there will also be the ADMIN folder, under which is the C1ADMIN folder...

After shutting ConsoleOne off, take all five directories you find under the C1ADMIN directory and copy them over the top of the C:\novell\consoleone\1.2 folder and then restart ConsoleOne.  If you are prompted about setting file cache and file commit on/off do that then restart the PC then start using ConsoleOne.  You'll need a drive mapped to the volume where your GroupWise domain (the main administrative point in the system) is stored/located.
