Backing up Hyper-V Cluster with DPM

I just setup a 2 node hyper-v cluster and am having some problems with the backups.  I am not able to use hardware supported vss backups so I have to resort to software vss supported backups.  I'm having an error 32612 when performing backups from the two hosts.  It's telling me that the csv lun is already in use.  I've tried per CSV Serialization and it's not working.  I put the DataSourceGroups.xml file under C:\Program Files\Microsoft DPM\DPM\Config (config folder did not exist, I created it).  I've also tried per node serialization and I have the same problem.  If all vms are just on one of the nodes then backups are successful, but if I have vms on both hosts then it fails.  I can create two protection groups (one for each node) that run at different times and that should solve that problem, the problem with that is that every time I move VM's around I have to go and updated the protection groups.
