Publish e-commerce app behind TMG 2010

Hi Guys,

Running into a wall here. I have TMG 2010 enterprise listening on a public ip, my web server is on the private lan. I'm able to publish sites on port 80 through TMG using the web publishing wizard, however when trying to publish my nopcommerce site with SSL it times out. I've created the listener to listen on both 80 and 443, I've also exported the cert from my webserver and imported it into TMG and set that cert to my listener and ip. I can browse the home page, but when I get into the shopping cart it times out. Any ideas?

TIA!

Have you checked the publishing rule with the "Test Rule button", do you receive any errors?

How are you publishing the web site? Web publishing rule or are you publishing with Server publishing rule?

If it is a web publishing rule, what kind of certificate are you using on the TMG - public CA issued or private CA issued?

Is the TMG the gateway to this network, if not you should change to "Traffic appears to come from TMG" and not "traffic appears to come from Original Client".

Do you have a certificate on the Web server hosting the application?

Can you also check traffic on the TMG destined for this web server. TMG console, Logs and reports, logging tab. And see what happens with the traffic.

If you get to the Home Page then the Publishing Rule is working.  If it fails in another part of the site you have a site design problem.   Something is changing in the Site's structure when you hit the Shopping Cart that is causing the Site to fail with respect to the Publishing Rule.

If the Publishig Rule was the problem you would have never gotten to the Site in the first place.
