RichShare

Why does Sharepoint lose exported 'appended' rich text data?
Export from Sharepoint to Excel.
When you export data from an 'appended' multiline, rich text data field all previous entries into that field are lost and only the last entry gets exported. I was kinda hoping (expecting) that it would send all entries along with the respective name and date tags. Alas, with MS Sharepoint it was not to be!!!!
Help anyone please?!

This is a touch beyond me but it looks like the right solution. I will passs it to my IT guys. Thank you.
This is because SharePoint is just emulating the appending on the web UI - it is simply displaying the values from previous versions on the disp and edit form. They have not implemented it on the list views and webservices.
You would need to code it to get all version values for this field - see this post for more details https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/26869470/How-can-I-display-the-append-only-history-comments-v3comments-using-the-client-object-model.html
