Relocate SBS installation of Sharepoint and SBS Monitoring to alternate drive.
Hello,
I am running an SBS 2003 server.
We had originally installed SBSMonitoring and Sharepoint to the D: drive.
We need to relocate all the following folders to a newly added E: drive.
D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$SBSMONITORING
\Data
\Install
\LOG
D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$SHAREPOINT
\Data
\Install
\Log
I was able to use the following document (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708031(WS.10).aspx) to relocate the following files:
STS_Servername_1.mdf
STS_Servername_1_Log.ldf
STS_Config.mdf
STS_Config_Log.ldf
SBSMonitoring.mdf
SBSMonitoring_Log.ldf
However I still need to move all the remaining folders and subfolders that include the logs and system databases such as master.mdf, etc.
Following this, D: will be destroyed.
Any thoughts/links/suggestions would be welcom.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Rudy
