WSUS force update to test workstation
Our server is SBS 2008 and workstations are Vista Business.
I am trying to get to grips with WSUS. All is straightforward bar the update scheduling.
I have put a single workstation in its own group and approved some patches to test.
How do I tell WSUS to install the updates NOW or at a predetermined time?

Are you using GPOs for your settings?

From memory
start, run, cmd on the workstation
wuauclt /scan /detectnow

"/scan" is not a valid argument
wuauclt /detectnow is all you need

The Spiceworks article is indeed excellent reading. But how do I access the WSUS GPO settings from the GPMC?
