Add New Pc to BackUp exec 2010

Hi Guys

Im new at Backup exec 2010.  We have a new server that needs to be part of the back up selection. How do i go around adding this server to the selection list?

Refer to the link below to install the Remote Agent for Windows System ( RAWS )  on the remote server you want to backup.
Once done , it should appear in the backup selection list under WINDOWS SYSTEMS, FAV , WINDOWS DOMAIN etc.
You can select the server from any one node and go through with the rest of the job configuration to back it up.

One more thing, you dont know by any chance how to remove a pc from the selection? the server is off and i have to remove it but it wont allow me.

You cant remove servers from the list thats populated when the backup job is opened, just ensure that its not selected for backups if you dont want it to be backed up or if its not available.

Their are no jobs currently running.

I have tried un-checking the box but the server is off and backup exec won't allow me to un-check it.

I managed to delete it manually.

aaah, if you are talking about an existing selection list or job, it can be edited in the TEXT VIEW
