css backround image

Hello experts.
I decide to use css to show my images.Download only one main image with all the sub images i need in it and than using css.
The following code is not working.I need alittle help with this.

.headertitles{background:url('images/headers.gif') no-repeat; width:100%; height:100%; display:block;}
.logimg{width:195px; height:19px;background-position:0px -81px;}

please check in your debugger, if the image is reaching the client (to make sure that the path is correct one or not)
then check if the position that you are giving is correct or not.

Last but not the least, see the output after setting the concrete value in pixels to height and width

I just made a testpage with only the span and the style and it is working.

How can i test if the image is reaching the client?May be there is a problem with the original files

There was a problem in te original css file.
