Disk space

We have a Windows 2003 R2 with a 12 GB OS partition.  The only other software installed on this is backup software.  We now have only 750Mb free on this drive. Adding up the sizes of all the folders on this drive only comes to about 8GB. Does anyone have any ideas what could be taking up the remaining space.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I suspect you totaled the size of folders and forgot about your C:\ root where the pagefile is.
