Remove Exchange 2003

I had a Windows 2003 Server running Exchange 2003 and it is also the domain controller. I have installed a new Windows 2008 R2 Server running Exchange 2010 and have moved everything from the 2003 Exchange server over and it's working fine. Now I want to uninstall Exchange from the 2003 server and leave the server as the domain controller for the time being. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on removing Exchange 2003 without effecting the domain controller? This could be simple for all I know but I want to be sure.

Thanks

this shows how to remove exchange 2003 once exchange 2007 is installed.  it should work the same for exchange 2010.
