Microsoft Security Essentials

Hi all, i am trying to find a way to disable the "Upgrade SE" warnings. I am trying to prevent users from clicking "Upgrade" when they see that there is one available.

I don't seem to find it so was wondering if anyone has an idea about it.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try to disable the Automatic Updates in services.msc

Automatic Updates is already disabled. What happens is that a "new version" of MSSE is available message is displayed and some users click upgrade and then they ran into trouble when the automatic unistaller wants to take place.
