Adobe flash player does not work.

I have xp home service pack 3. Flash player will not work. I have uninstaled/ rebooted/ reloaded. I uninstalled virus protection and tried to load. When installed the only sign it is loaded is in ADD/remove programs. Does not show up in add ons. Any ideas?

The player you have installed is the standalone player. For playing flash within browsers you need to install the Flash browser plugin which will appear under addons in  your browser.. You can download and install the browser plugin from the Adobe website.

Good Luck!

Try running the program located in the Adobe Tech Note at this link: http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157

Then download the newest version of Flash Player from Adobe. Make sure you close your internet browsers before installing Flash Player as it will add "Add-on's" to them.
