How can I get a HP 4500 G510n Scan directly to a network drive?

Hi - I have a HP 4500 G510n connected on my home network. I want to set up the scanner to write files directly to a drive on my NAS.  I have read that the OS of the device can be access (how) and a network drive mapped.  Included software assumes a computer will be attached to the device to receive the scanned image.

I was asked about this issue a while back but didn't find a builtin solution with that all-in-one.

What I did was just scan to the connected computer and the setup Cobian Backup to send the scans to the NAS drive everyday.

On two other computers I mapped a drive to the locally connected pc.

Yes... that sucks... but it works for users... at least until that all-in-one fails and i can find them a multifunction laser printer that will last and wont cost SO much for ink.

you can always make a macro for the task to automate it
here a good one :  http://www.macroexpress.com/

you can find free ones too  (autohotkey)
