How to resolve disconnected mailbox in Exchnage 2007 ?

We have a new Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008 STD 64bit , I suddently noticed there is a Disconnected mailbox.

The user is still able to get emails using Outlook 2003 and is loging in to his own Exchange account, yet there is a disconnected mailbox under the user's name.

When I click on Connect (the only option available), the user account does not appear when I select Existing User.

How do I resolve this?

Most likely, the disconnected mailbox was once connected to the user account that now has a new mailbox attached to it.  If you try to connect the disconnected mailbox, the user account will not show as one of the available accounts because only non mailbox users are displayed.
You can connect the disconnected mailbox to newly created “Temp” user account and export the content of the mailbox to PST. Then you can import the PST to the mailbox that is online.
