sbs2003 Internet NIC stops working, cannot be repaired or disabled
I have a server whose Internet NIC works for severall hours and then freezes. System event log shows nothing unusual.
If I try to disable or repair it from network connections, the dialog freezes. Task manager shows the "Internet Properties" application is Not Responding, but I cannot end it.
Device manager freezes if I try to uninstall the NIC.
Only a reboot brings it back to life. Then it works for couple hours upto a day, and it repeats.
I tried changing it from "automatically obtain.." to static IP addresses, but the same symptoms occur.
Any ideas?
