ms outlook email stops at outbox

Dear Experts:

We are using ms outlook 2007 now days we have come across the problem that is when we send a message it goes to outbox and from here it does not go just stops , how many ever times we resend it will just sit in the outbox will not get moved from here. some times delete and create new message and by adding the destination address it works ( moves out of the outbox and appears in sent ) but in many cases message just does not move out from the outbox . Please help me to fix this. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reply. we have outsourced the mailing service.It is of linux mail server.

also i did not understand "OWA"
What happens when you send mail from OWA?

Sorry busy day,

Ok so if it's a Linux server your most likely using pop/smtp or imap so we need to know which.

Without giving away anything confidential can you post a screen grab of your settings?

Sir thanks for the reply. as it is C E O laptop i did no take the print screen it is of ms outlook using pop3 . one thing i observed is has lots/huge messages in the inbox and sent messages. Please help Thanks in advance.
