SBS 2003 - Iphone4 Setup.

Hi Guys,

I am a bit of a novice, but manage to get around mosts things. I have 5 Iphones all wanting to use Exchange on our SBS 2003 server. I have went through the SBS+Iphone tutorial on here and got so far.

I can connect to mysever.mydomain.local ok via the router IP address. Our website is hosted by BT so i think i am right in says the DNS records for out domain .org.uk point to bt.

Following the guide and using AS Tester APP on the iphone I am able to connect as follows:

Checking connection : OK
Checking Certificate: Fail
Checking application :OK
Checking version (6.5.7638.1): OK
Checking protocols (1.0,2.0,2.1,2.5): OK
Checking User: OK

ActiveSync is not available.
(activesync detected, but noy correctley configured. (HTTP 500: Forms-Based Auth.

My problem is forms based authentication is off. I cany use testmyexchange because it wont find myserver.mydomain.local. Do I need to have some sort of sub domain setup.

I am totally stuck now.

Thanks
David.

Any particular reason for having FBA disabled?  If you run the Connect To The Internet Wizard again - it will re-enable it automatically.

Hi,  No Reason for having FBA Disabled, I will run the wizard again, I have Inisteg running at the moment.

I have been following your Article and it has got me this far, Thanks. I will keep you posted.
No problems - shout if you need me for anything.
Hi, Inisteg ran ok, with no errors,  I ran the connecton wizard again. I only have port 443 open on our router, do I need to open 80 also?.

I am still getting error 500 on connection.

Thanks
David.
