Web solution for previewing flash and HTML

Hi all,

I am looking for some recommendation of web based applications that would allow me to:
- upload HTML content and supporting files
- password protect that content by users and groups
- present the main HTML doc
-  nice to have is a page expiration date
- ability to notify users when new content is available
- in some kind of iframe have a comment/collaboration area for feedback ability to email feedback coments
- some kind of approval button for projects

I have looked at solutions like fengoffice and phpCollab. They don't quite fit the bill for me.

Any one have other ideas?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you looking for a free solution?

If not, a basic hosting account and a content management system is probably what you're looking for.

WordPress would work. Here's ways to achieve the features you mentioned using WordPress:

upload HTML content and supporting files- Built into WordPress core.
http://www.question-defense.com/2009/03/23/how-to-upload-files-to-wordpress-a-post

password protect that content by users and groups- WordPress allows you to control users and access levels.

present the main HTML doc- You could present it in the form of a page or post, or as downloadable content.

nice to have is a page expiration date- You can set WordPress posts to expire on certain dates.
http://www.wprecipes.com/how-to-set-post-expiration-datetime-on-your-wordpress-blog (manually)
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-expirator/ (plug-in)

ability to notify users when new content is available- If the users subscribed to the RSS feed they would get updates via email if they chose to.

in some kind of iframe have a comment/collaboration area for feedback ability to email feedback comments- WordPress has comment features, or you could put a form in each area to allow emailed comments.

some kind of approval button for projects- You can set it up so comments, or uploads whatever don't appear unless approved my administrator.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gt-post-approval/

I hope that helps.

It's gotta be password protected etc as it's confidential work previews with clients.

Looking for a complete solution.  Wish I had the time to administer stuff. Would rather pay these days

To log-in you have to give a password. You can also password protect all content.

Unfortunately, I need to upload support folders with files like folders named CSS, Images or what ever else is linked to the index page.

If you're set against WordPress try Collabtive it is open source and has multi-level user roles. It allow file uploads and is completely configurable (as long as you are proficient with PHP):
