Normally a firewall should be able to allow traffic by allowing ports or subnets, but not in this case. Kind of a weird idiosyncrasy on Kaspersky's part.

I have a new HP M2727nf multifunction printer that I would like to perform network scans from. I cannot however, unless I completely disable Karspersky Internet security. One would think that a firewall issue is afoot, but if I open HP's recommended ports 5525 &amp;&nbsp;5526, it does not scan (gets a &quot;not setup on PC&quot; message on the printer). Also, if I turn off the firewall, it still will not run. It only allows me to scan if I pause protection on the computer. What gives? Should I be running a different AV or is there a way to do this with Kaspersky?<br />
