Exmerge and Exchange 2003
I am attempting to export a mailbox from the exchange server but I believe I do not have permissions to do this. I am logged on as Administrator.

Also, you have 2 users with the same name - that will confuse the server
ASKER
There is only one user with that name and the account is not disabled. Exmerge is being run as a two stage process.

I logged on as BESAdmin (created for the Blackberry Server) and I can export the data. But I am not sure which permissions are needed and where if I want the Administrator account to run Exmerge.

1. You cant use the built in administrator account to do this.
2. Instead you should create a special account just for Export/Imports, i.e. in the past we created an account called EXAdmin and assigned the appropriate rights/permissions pointed out by Robin above

If it is, then exmerge will fail - enable the account, and run exmerge again
are you doing it as a 2-stage process?
