I have a dell 490 running windows 7. tried to install service pack 1. got error message about active partition. My hard drive is partitioned 100MB C drive 15gig and G drive 120Gig. Made the c drive active instead of the 100mb partition. unable to boot now. get error message that:<br />

Serial ATA AH. CI BIOS version iSRc 1.00a.2 01202006 This version supports only hard disk and cdrom drives<br />
<br />
Controller Bus#00, Device#1F, Functon#02, 01 Devices<br />
<br />
If Idisconnect the hdd, i get AHCI BIOS not installed<br />
<br />
F12 does not activate the boot sequence menu.<br />

Can anybody help?
