I needed to reduce the size of our exchange 2003 public folder (200Gb) after clearing a lot of data (90Gb). &nbsp;I didn't want to go through the whole waiting for eseutil to do it's job so I exported the existing public folders as PST files, moved the original EDB &amp;&nbsp;STM files after dismounting and then remounted and let exchange create new public folders.<br />

In hind site this may not have been the best option!<br />

I now have a couple of issues, one of them being that one of the original public folders was mail enabled and when I import the data for that folder from it's PST I can't mail enable it using the same email address as the system tells me the email already exists.<br />

I've used &nbsp;proxyaddresses=smtp:emaila<wbr />ddress@dom<wbr />ain.com and the email address exists.<br />
<br />
My question is how do I delete the old email account so I can use it for the new PF?<br />
