Deleting email account associated with removed Public Folder
Hi,
I needed to reduce the size of our exchange 2003 public folder (200Gb) after clearing a lot of data (90Gb). I didn't want to go through the whole waiting for eseutil to do it's job so I exported the existing public folders as PST files, moved the original EDB & STM files after dismounting and then remounted and let exchange create new public folders.
In hind site this may not have been the best option!
I now have a couple of issues, one of them being that one of the original public folders was mail enabled and when I import the data for that folder from it's PST I can't mail enable it using the same email address as the system tells me the email already exists.
I've used proxyaddresses=smtp:emaila ddress@dom ain.com and the email address exists.
My question is how do I delete the old email account so I can use it for the new PF?
Thanks in advance.
Paul
