Formulas in MS CRM

Hi guys need help updating a field in ms crm with the result from the following formula.
((F15/4)*(M15^2-F15^2)^0.5)+((M15^2/4)*ASIN(F15/M15))-((F15/4)*((M15-2*I15)^2-F15^2)^0.5)-(((M15-2*I15)/2)^2*ASIN(F15/(M15-2*I15)))
This is a excel formula.

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm confused... will the cell references in this formula be replaced with fields in the CRM record? Or are you trying to pull a calculated value from an excel file?

Ok, then I think you will need to use javascript to write this formula to run on some event - either form load, or field change. have you done any client-side scripting in CRM before?

Can you give more specifics about the entity and fields you want to run this formula on? And when you want it to run?
