restore table

I backed up database using
backup database plus archivelog;

backup completed successfully
immediately after backup one of the user dropped the table.
How can I restore with out flashback features..

Now, if you need to restore a specific table, theres 2 ways :

1) the easy way is using the 'flashback table <table_name> to before drop'.

It uses the recyclebin that is active by default in 11g. The only problem with this is objects can expire from the recyclebin OR just deleted with 'PURGE'. I strongly suggest you to go for this solution.

In order to check if you still have the table in the recyclebin in sql*Plus :
SHOW RECYC[LEBIN] [original_name]

2) the hard way with RMAN :

You need to restore a bigger piece of backup like a tablespace in an external database. -> Then you export the table you need ->. Then you import the table in your target database.
