Outlook 2003 locks up when deleting calendar item or reminder ** when ACT addon is installed

I have one user (out of 30) that is having a new issue.

We are using SBS 2003 (ie. exchange) - Outlook 2003 and Act Premium 2010
If the ACT add-on is installed/enabled for Outlook and you attempt to dismiss a reminder and/or delete something from your calendar, Outlook will lock up and you will have to ctrl-alt-delete to kill it.

If I remove the ACT add-on (ie. remove the ACT address book), you can freely delete or dismiss anything.

Notes:
We are not using ACT for email or Calendar stuff (we need the addon so it tags emails from outlook to the database)

She has AVG installed

The following ideas do not fix the problem:

Starting Outlook in Safe-Mode

Starting Outlook with /cleanreminders option

Detect Repair

Creating new profile

Deleting the extend.dat file

Any suggestions?

Happen for all users or just one?
What's the full version of ACT! - from help | about?

Just one user.
I'll have to check the exact version but its the most recent version of 2010 Premium.
Can you see if it's machine or user based ... try another user login to Windows on that machine and the problem user on another.

If there is no problem with a different user on that PC, try re-creating the user's Windows profile

Quick update - this user is out of town so its a bit harder to create a new profile on her computer. Still working on this.
Have you had any luck resolving this?

Solution resolved.
We had the same issue with Outlook 2003 and Act 2013 - I was excited to see this question as it was the same exact issue we were having with one user.  the turning off reminder sounds didn't solve the lockup issue tho.
