Enabling debugging on PGADMIN

Hi,
I have just done the one button installation of postgres 9 on windows 7.
using pgAdmin, the Tools>debugging selection is greyed out.
I thought i installed the 'extras'. Is there something else i need to do to enable this?
I want to debug pl/pgsql triggers

Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You would need to make sure this is in your postgresql.conf:
shared_preload_libraries = '$libdir/plugins/plugin_debugger.dll'

Open in new window

(If you make a change to the conf file, restart your server).

You will also need to run this SQL on the database that you want debugging enabled:
<Postgres Installation Directory>/share/contrib/pldbgapi.sql

Good Luck!
