To make a long story short, last night I received an ailing Dell Server with a corrupted HD.<br />
<br />
After verifying that there were zero bad sectors with HDAT, I decided to take the plunge with CHKDSK /r. &nbsp;Unfortunately that was seven hours ago.<br />
<br />
Should I go ahead and &quot;pull the plug&quot; and try to work from there, or just let it ride out for several more hours?<br />
<br />
The HD is 250GB, and the server is a PowerEdge 840.<br />

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Should I go ahead and "pull the plug" and try to work from there, or just let it ride out for several more hours?

CHKDSK appears to be stuck in Stage 5
