Starting MySQL database server: mysqld . . . . . . . . . . . . . . failed!

Hi there I have just tried to restart mysql server after seeing some funny messages on my sites regarding sql errors and I am now getting this when I execute

/etc/init.d/mysql restart

Error Message

When I open the syslog it says this
