Submit SharePoint list item into External Database using "SharePoint OK " Button.

Hello Experts,

I want to Submit SharePoint list item in External Oracle Database using "SharePoint OK" Button. I don't know, how to get the field value from inbuilt "NewItem Form.aspx".

New Form.aspx
OK button will perform two action:
1. It save data in SharePoint list (Normal way)
2. As a same event, it saves data in external database (Oracle).

Edit Form.aspx
OK button will perform two action:
1. update data in SharePoint list (Normal way)
2 . As a same event, it updates data in external database (Oracle).

can you plase let me know, how do i perform this actions in detail.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I would tend towards doing this with an Event rather than in the out of the box edit forms.

Set up an event handler on the list and just use classic ADO.NET code to write to Oracle.
